Army Cadet's Log Book

alt

log book

This is an extremely useful book both for detachments and personal issue, and is relevant for both CCF (Army) cadets, and ACF cadets. It contains over 60 pages of tables that can be filled in with the progress of a cadet through the ranks of the ACF/CCF, and at £4 it is reasonably priced. The book is very useful for both keeping track of progress during a cadet's time in the ACF or the CCF, but also very useful for reference after leaving for records of achievements, qualifications gained and courses attended.

The instructions for filling in the book are very clear, and a helpful distinction is made between boxes that should be filled in with pen and those that are liable to change and should be pencilled in. There is a wide variety of sections that can be filled in, ensuring that all achievments and experience are recorded. However (not a criticism, more of an observation:), because of this, and because of the price, it is something that would probably only be worth using for the more seriously minded cadets, and not for those who either have little to record, or are less committed than others.
